Age verification

Every member of Vices & Desires proves they are 18 or older before they can see other members or anything they post. A birthdate box isn't enough, and we don't use one.

How it works

1. You sign in with your email and choose a screen name.
2. You confirm that you are 18+ and that you choose to view adult content.
3. A specialist age-verification company checks your age, for example by matching a government ID to a live selfie.
4. The company tells us only whether you passed. Member areas open once you do.

What we keep

Only the result (pass or fail), the date, and the verification company's reference number. We never receive or store your ID document or selfie. Where state law requires it, members are asked to verify again every two years.

While we connect our provider

We are finishing the connection to our age-verification company. Until it is live, accounts are verified only by our staff after checking government-issued photo ID, in person or on a live video call, and nobody else can enter member areas.

Bans stay bans

A banned account can't sign in again on any device. Once our verification company is connected, new sign-ups will also be checked against identities that have been banned, so a ban can't be dodged with a new email.
