Content, complaints and removal
How we keep content consensual and adults-only, how to report something, how fast we act, and how to appeal. Anyone can use these routes, member or not.
Before anything is shown
- Only age-verified members can post, message or upload.
- Profile photos are checked by a moderator before other members can see them.
- Members may only post images of themselves, or of verified adult members who agreed to appear. Everyone shown must be 18 or older and must have consented.
- We keep age and consent records for anyone who appears in member content, and can produce them on request.
How to report something
- Members: use the Report link on any profile, post, comment, message, group or event.
- Anyone, including people who aren't members: an intimate image of you shared without consent → takedown request. Anything else → contact form, choosing "Report a safety concern".
What happens next
- Immediately: anything reported as involving a minor, or as shared without consent, is hidden automatically before anyone reviews it.
- Within 48 hours: takedown requests for intimate images shared without consent are reviewed and, if valid, removed.
- Within 7 business days: every other report is reviewed and resolved.
- Suspected child sexual abuse material is removed, preserved as the law requires, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Moderators can remove content, warn a member, suspend them for a set time, or ban them. Every action is recorded with the moderator and the reason.
If you appear in something
Anyone shown in content on Vices & Desires can ask for it to be removed, even if they once agreed to it. Use the takedown request. We remove content at once when consent is missing or withdrawn. If the poster disputes the request, the content stays down while it is decided.
Appeals
If we acted on your content or account and you think we got it wrong, send an appeal through the contact form(choose "Appeal a moderation decision"). Where possible, a different staff member from the one who made the decision reviews it. We answer within 7 business days and tell you the outcome and the reason.
What's never allowed
Minors; anything suggesting a person is underage; content without everyone's consent; anyone asleep, intoxicated or otherwise unable to consent; buying or selling sex; incest; bestiality; extreme violence; hate; and anything illegal. The full list is in our terms and community guidelines.
Draft for legal review. Last updated October 23, 2026. If anything here is unclear, contact us.
