New here? How this community works
Verification, privacy, consent and etiquette: what to expect before you join and in your first week.
Everyone is a verified adult
Every member confirms they're 18 or older with an ID check through a verification partner. We keep only the result (passed or not), never a copy of your ID.
Verification means one person, one account. If someone is banned, they can't quietly come back under a new name.
Privacy is the default
- You choose a screen name. Real names are never required or shown.
- Profiles are visible only to signed-in, verified members, and you can limit yours to friends or hide it entirely.
- Show your region, never your town or address.
- Photos are checked before they appear, and we strip location data from every upload.
- Outing anyone, sharing who you saw here or what they're into, gets you removed.
Consent runs everything
Consent isn't only for scenes. Here it covers who can message you, who can link to your profile as a partner, and who sees what you share. Anything you agree to, you can take back at any time, with no explanation needed.
- Strangers' first messages land in a separate requests folder, and they can send just one until you accept.
- Partner labels only appear after both people confirm.
- Block, mute and report are on every profile, post and message.
Your first week
- Fill in your profile and tags so people with shared interests can find you.
- Join a few local and interest groups and read before you post.
- Go to a munch or social meetup before anything else. It's the easiest way into a local scene.
- Read the community guidelines. They're short.
Nobody expects you to know the lingo. Asking questions is normal, and good members are happy to answer.
